MCSJ 2.5 Upgrade information

Dear customer,

Thank you for your interest in the newest version of our award-winning suite.  Please take some time to complete the information below so we can keep you updated in the MCSJ 2.5 upgrade process.

We will need to connect to your server using either PcAnywhere or Dual Desk and transfer the upgrade files to your network.  While the files are being transferred there in no need to be out of MCSJ.

Once the upgrade begins you will need to be out of MCSJ.  The actual upgrade takes around 1 hour.
   
Important Information Regarding:
   
Pervasive:          How do I check what version of Pervasive we are using?
   
  If you are using Pervasive 2000i SP4 or 8.6 you will receive a message when login into MCSJ.  This is just a warning informing you that your version of Pervasive is no longer being supported by Pervasive. 

MCSJ will not experience any issues, but should you decide to upgrade to a new version of Pervasive, we are offering the Pervasive upgrade at a discount price.

Current MCSJ Version         How do I check what version of MCSJ we are using?

  MCSJ 2.5 will require a new version of the VM (Virtual Machine) installed on each workstation.  This Installation will be done automatically if the user has rights to the local workstation.  If not, the workstation will use the VM from the server, but it may cause performance issues.  These will be temporary until the new VM can be installed on the local PC.

      Billing Separate Bills for each Service Type
Update to Revenue     Combine Bill for Service Types
     
    If Payroll No time entries.  Cannot be in the middle of a payroll
    If Tax, Utility or Animal License All batches must be updated.
   
Scheduling  
  If your update will not be performed at the time you are completing this form, please provide us with a date and approximate time when we can upgrade your system.
   
  A technician will contact you prior to the scheduled time to transfer necessary files.
